Are you an adult aged 30 or older with cerebral palsy? If so, your experiences and insights can be invaluable to shaping future understanding and support for healthy ageing with cerebral palsy.
The Liggins Institute of the University of Auckland, in collaboration with Curtin University, is conducting a research study exploring the ageing experiences of adults with cerebral palsy across Australia and New Zealand. This project aims to gain new knowledge about the unique challenges and needs of adults with cerebral palsy as they age.
What’s involved?
Participation is simple and flexible:
• Complete a short questionnaire (~15-20 minutes).
• Take part in an interview (~1 hour) tailored to your communication needs.
The questionnaire covers general health information, while the interview allows you to share your personal experiences with ageing, your needs, and what healthy ageing means to you.
Why participate?
By sharing your story, you’ll help researchers build a deeper understanding of the ageing process for adults with cerebral palsy, paving the way for better resources and support in the future. Plus, you’ll receive a voucher as a thank-you for your time.
