Australian Cerebral Palsy Register
The CP Register is a confidential research database of information about people with cerebral palsy in Australia.
The main aims of the CP Register are to:
- monitor incidence and prevalence of cerebral palsy
- gain further understanding about the causes of cerebral palsy
- evaluate preventative strategies
- assist in planning services for children and adults who have cerebral palsy.
Ways to register:
- Contact your state register and register directly by phone.
- Give permission for your health practitioner or education professional to send your name and contact details to your state CP Register. They will then contact you and obtain the required details.
