Aviation Disability Standards Consultation: Have Your Say on Accessible Air Travel

By September 1, 2026News

The Australian Government is seeking feedback on proposed new Aviation Disability Standards aimed at improving accessibility and inclusion in air travel.

Cerebral Palsy Australia contributed to the co-design process and encouraged input from people with cerebral palsy and their families to help ensure lived experience was reflected in the development of the proposed options.

Public consultation is now open, giving people with disability, families, carers and advocates the opportunity to review the proposals and share their views.

The consultation closes 2 October 2026.
